These stars, part of the Via Lattea, are visible from my bedroom window. On a night with a full but small moon, they came alive, trembling in the dark blue of the sky, filling my heart with a fierce vitality—and an anxious urge to create images inspired by their light. This image reminds me that a starry sky had already been painted by the great Vincent van Gogh… an idea I’ve stolen from him, in my own way.
